Pearlyne Lye BMUS(HONS)
Classically trained, Pearlyne holds a Bachelor in Music with Honours BMUS(HONS) from the University of Wales, UK; majors in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy. Apart from her first love, the piano, she also plays the violin, flute, organ, and clarinet. After completing her Diploma in Music at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), she went on to pursue her BMUS(HONS) from the University of Wales. Thereafter, she was offered a place to pursue a Master’s in Music from UOW. In addition, she also holds the Diplomas from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).

Pearlyne firmly believes that everyone is able to learn. Every student is unique and different. Hence, lessons are always structured according to the pace and ability of the student. With over 20 years of teaching experience, her dedication, patience and passion for music and for teaching have indeed touched many of her students, both past and present.

Pearlyne is also a certified music instructor under the Ministry of Education Art & Music Instructor Scheme. Apart from teaching the music curriculum in various schools, she also teaches music technology, keyboard skills as well as music & movement. Besides teaching, she also performs regularly for various functions, both as a soloist and as an accompanist.
